About Us
GoGreenTeam.org was started by Joe Schossler and Jesse Muhlhan.
Joe and Jesse met as union ironworkers in apprenticeship school at the age of eighteen. They quickly became friends and over the last ten years have remained close.
Joe started a tree business called Stark Tree in 2000. Joe has cut down many trees. Then one day his son, Brady, asked Joe "Why do you cut down so many trees dad?" This really struck Joe as profound. From that moment forward Joe decided to take a more environmentally sound approach to his tree business. He proclaimed that "I will plant a tree for everyone I remove." This has become his mantra.
Joe is the owner of Stark Tree and Jesse is the owner of www.ohiotree.com the two companies decided to pool their resources to form the gogreenteam.org and plant trees all over Ohio.
Jesse and Joe have given away over one thousand trees to Fort Island and Hillcrest Elementary Schools. They gave away and planted the rest of the trees with kids from boy scout troups, day care centers, and churches. The feeling they obtained from doing something small to try to change the world is priceless. The press received and calls received for their tree business only reinforce the importance of planting more trees and trying to do more for their customers, community, and environment.
