Join the Go Green Team and Ohiotree.com in creating a better world one tree at a time by planting trees all over Ohio. To date local school children from the Go Green Team and Ohiotree.com have planted 1500 trees in the Akron, Canton, and Cleveland area. It's a good start, but we know that we can accomplish so much more if we all work to build this team together.

From melting ice caps to rising temperatures to out of control gas prices we are all feeling the impact of global warming. WE can do something about it by TAKING ACTION to GO GREEN!

What can WE do to make a difference?

PLANT A TREE. Global Warming is caused by the high levels of greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Trees reduce the levels of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere by sucking up carbon dioxide like a sponge. Trees also provide shade that can save you money on your air conditioning bills.
EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN. Our kids are our future. We need to empower them through encouragement and education to be able to create technology that is not dependent on foreign governments and fossil fuels like coal and oil.

RECYCLE and use renewable resources like solar, wind, and geothermal.

Use and buy energy efficient appliances and turn stuff off when you are not using it.

MAKE GOING GREEN FUN. We need to teach our kids, neighbors, politicians, and family members that GOING GREEN is not only the right thing to do it is the cool and fun thing to do.

Support local businesses that are committed to GOING GREEN.

GET INVOLVED. Volunteer, write to your elected officials, and tell your neighbors, friends, and family that WE are committed to leaving a healthy earth and a prosperous United States for our children.

The debate about climate change and global warming is over. Together WE can change the future by TAKING ACTION NOW.
